Originally a modest 1949 home on a spacious lot, this Mar Vista residence was well suited for a contemporary expansion. While the two story addition provided needed functional space, it also offered the opportunity to reorient the entry and direct the expansion to the ocean view. With strong horizontal lines and the use of similar finish materials, the new structure balances and compliments the original.
